search engines

Hmmmm search engines. I'm over 'em. I want a find engine.

I'm looking for the name of a song that has lyrics that go something like "what's going on Mekong" (I think).

Google says "no"

Bill says "no"

Yahoo says "no"

After about half an hour of searching... I find what I'm looking for.

Ah ha! Mekon not Mekong. Roxanne Shante.

What can't search engines just find what you're looking for and not what you're actually looking for?

Some nice person had blogged the keywords Mekon and Mekong. Maybe there's a use for blogs after all.

time formats

OK, so this is my little pet hate. Date and Time formats. I go in to the blog settings, playing around with the bits you can click and find the date format for comments drop-down. It has the usual mix of bizarre formats but not my favorite. iso-8601 :-(
